19 years old beauty from Kandy, Chamupa Godage, vying for the Derana Miss Sri Lanka 2011 beauty pageant. She is definitely one of those rare Sri Lankan beauty aspiring to make it big in the glamour world. And Chamupa is not only beauty, but brain as well. She can communicate in several languages including mother tongue Sinhala, Hindi, English and Spanish. While pursing her studies she began modling on the side. Speaking to srilankan-stars (SLS), Chamupa who tells her endeavours in life and her future plans.

Q: Tell us something about yourself?
A: I was born in Kandy Sri Lanka. I finished my education at the Mahamaya Girls College Kandy and moved to Singapore for my higher education. I completed my Degree in Accounting & Finance at the TMC Academy, Singapore.







Q: What are your hobbies?
A: My hobbies are reading, listening to music, dancing, modeling, cooking and charity works.





Chamupa highlighted "I'm proud to be Sri Lankan. Participating in a beauty pageant was one my childhood dreams & I'm doing this with a good purpose which is helping others. I'm starting my charity work in SL very soon. I hope Derana Miss Sri Lanka will be good start for me in this modeling & fashion arena. My dream is to become a Top model and represent my country."



“This pageant is the safest platform I can venture into considering what I want to do. It is not about being beautiful, it is about using your beauty for a cause and I am very glad we have a pageant like this to train us to fit into the local and global audience” Chamupa said.
