Udari Warnakulasooriya in Sihinaya Dige Enna

Renowned director Chandrarathna Mapitigama's latest cinematic venture 'Sihinaya Dige Enna' aims to attract international markets for local cinema that combines the influences of romance, action and fantasy. 'Sihinaya Dige Enna' produced to international standards with a team of professionals embodying a passion for cinema. Music composed by well known composer & violinist Dinesh Suabsinghe. A massive cast including Udari Warnakulasooriya and Sanath Gunathilake. The supporting cast include a youthful and talented bunch Rajitha Hiran, Dinesh Suabsinghe and other new artists.

Sri Lankan Movie Sangili

'Sangili', Lalith Pannipitiya's newest film venture is set to hit the theaters in May. Dulani Anuradha plays the main character in Sangili while the rest of the cast includes Sanath Gunathilaka, Saranga Dissasekara, Veena Jayakody, Wimal Kumar de Costa, Neil Alles, Lionel Wickrema, Kumudini Adhikari, Isanka Heshani, Rebecca Nirmalee, Anusha Sonali, Mohan Hettiarchchi, Susantha Kahandarachchi, Naleen Pradeep Uduwela and others. The story is orphaned girl is sent to live under the guardianship of her aunt and uncle at a very young age, where she becomes an outcast in the family. Her aunt ( Veena Jayakody ), who is intimidated by her niece’s beauty, refuses to give her the traditional welcome she deserves when she reaches adulthood. Since then the isolated ‘Sangili’ falls for the little attention that she receives from the men in her life and is subsequently raped by her uncle ( Sanath Gunethilake ) Since then, she becomes the uncle’s mistress. Thus she goes through a turbulent journey in life experiencing various hardships while been betrayed by four different men who pretend to offer her salvation.



The technical crew includes A. H. Karunaratne as script writer, Nilantha Chularatne as cinematographer, Saman Panapitiya as music director, Hemachandra Perera and Shan Makandura as the art directors, Pujitha Sanadaradura is the the make up artiste, and Nilantha Perera functioned as assistant director.
