Miss Tourism Sri Lanka 2012

Miss Tourism World 2012 was held on the 16th December 2012 in Thailand. 58 contestants attended the event and competing for the title. Charitha Waidyasiri represent Sri Lanka for the pageant. She has a great prospect and is likely to make a significant impression in the contest.The title of “Miss Tourism World 2012 Grand Final” was won by Miss Tatyana Maksimova, 23, from Russia. The 1st runner up was Miss Tourism India, Miss Purvaa Rana. Miss Nadine Abdel Aziz, Miss Tourism Lebanon, won the 2nd runner up.

The collection were bright and rusty complementing the tropical calling of Resort wear for men and women by both international and local designers which included the likes of Bangladesh’s Bibi Russell and Pakistan’s Rizwan Beyg alongside leading local names such as Yolande Aluvihare Holm and more recent designers like Sonali Dharmawardena, Upeksha and Gihan Ediriweera had the audience quite enrapt.
