Ms Working Girl 2010

Ishara Abeywickrama walked away with the prestigious Miss Working Girl title at this year’s Miss Working Girl 2010 pageant while Angela Jayatissa and Charitha Waidyasiri were adjudged the first and the second runners-up respectively. Here are the Backstage photos of this pageant.


Ishara also won the Miss Photogenic and Beautiful Figure titles while Angela picked up the Miss Personality and Beautiful Skin awards. Dinitha Rathnayake won the Miss Congeniality award and Rasangika Madushani carried away the Miss Talent title.

Ishara Abeywickrema Miss Working Girl 2010

It was a moment of great joy and pride for the tall and slender beauty Ishara Abeywickrama as she walked away with the prestigious Miss Working Girl title at this year’s Miss Working Girl 2010 pageant held on September 21 at the Colombo Hilton. This pageant organized by the Lions Club of Thimbirigasyaya District 306 C2.




Angela Jayatissa and Charitha Waidyasiri were adjudged the first and the second runners-up of the 16 final contestants vying for the title. Ishara also won the Miss Photogenic and Beautiful Figure titles while Angela picked up the Miss Personality and Beautiful Skin awards. Dinithi Ratnayake won the Miss Congeniality award and Rasangika Madushani carried away the Miss Talent title.






The pageant was choreographed by Lou Ching Wong of Hair & Fashion Studio. Swarnamahal Jewellers (Pvt) Ltd. sponsored the event while EAP Hotels and Elephant House were the co-sponsors. Print media sponsors were The Sunday Times, Daily Mirror, Lankadeepa, Lanka Woman, EFM and Shree FM while the electronic media sponsors were Swarnavahini and ETV. The top winner received a car from Abans and a full board package for one night at Hotel Boulder Garden, Kalawana.

23 year old Ishara Sandamini Abeywickrama won the 1st runner-up at the Revlon Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2010 held at the Hilton Grand Ballroom on July 4 ,2010. She was currently studying Ayurvedic Medicine and hope to find a new herbal medicines that contribute to enhancing beauty.
