Starting at the tender age of 4, the Montreal native was a natural performer. Always wanting to be in the spotlight, she would put on small dance numbers and karaoke songs for her family to watch and listen. Although her vocal abilities didn't appear in her earlier years, her love for music had always shown through. Whether she was listening to Pop or Rap or Metal or even Jazz, Natasha could always hear the skill it took for every artist to be able to get their music out to the world.
In her early teenage years, her older sister introduced her to a more edgier side of the music industry, rock n' roll. But one facet of this genre stuck to the young girl's heart, alternative metal. She immediately became fascinated with artists like Amy Lee, Our Lady Peace and Billy Talent. Her love for the music just got her further interested in the art of singing.
At 13, Natasha took her first singing lesson. Since then, she has tremendously developed as an artist. Writing her own songs from the start so she can always be connected to the lyrics, Natasha also learned the art of songwriting.
In the past three years, Natasha has sprung herself upon working with well-known canadian rock producers and songwriters. She has recently worked with Dane Hartsell, an up and coming canadian artist who has developed a strong friendship with her. Nicole Hughes, former lead singer of Scratching Post, has also formed an undeniable bond with Natasha through the love of songwriting.
In December 2009, Natasha got to work with drummer, Paul Niedermier, and guitarist, Drew Cribley, from Thriving Ivory. Slowly, her repertoire is building and surely, her debut album will be one she shall cherish and remember always.
